Typically I worked heavily in the kitchen.From dropping the different foods in friers, cleaning, and handing out orders at the window or curb side.Regardless when your working in the kitchen there had to be great communication constantly and the pace changed consistently so I developed skills in working under pressure and being able to work as a team no matter what.

Working Jump Patrol took a ton of patience.Since jump patrol was supervising kids I would typically run into situations where rules were broken and I had to communicate to children, what can and can’t be done but in a way that would be understood and still respectful.It also included making sure I made those kids have an amazing time being there and having genuine and fun interactions.

Working FedEx was very tough.If there’s any skill I would say I learned the most working here, it would be time management.I had to balance school and having work right after school while also carrying the weight of having extra classes to cater to.On a average work day I had to work in a July 2022-July 2023

trailer.Hundreds of packages would come down a belt into my trailer and I had to set the packages up in a Tetris style way in a fast pace before the belt would get overfilled.

At Amazon every day was the same and nothing changed, we had the same consistent schedule.We’d start by stowing packages into a aisle with their coordinated bags.We’d carry that on for about 5 hours, then the next 5 hours we’d place all the bags on carts to their assigned station to be picked up by delivery drivers.This job definitely taught me most how to persevere through long hours no problem.
