I was the assistant custodian for the Springfield High school kitchen and Cafe. I was responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen floor, walls, ceiling and the kitchen restroom. My additional duties consisted of cleaning up after lunch and taking calls through the building. During winter we would change filters and get caught up on our daily duties. During the summer we would strip and wax classrooms and hallways throughout the school. I waxed the high school by myself one year. I wanted to see if I could do it and I did.
