CAREER HISTORY

Rockwood Construction, Milpitas, CA 2020-2022

Superintendent, District Four named Gideon is an eight-story garage with the Amenity Deck

and swimming pool on the top. Surrounding the garage was five 6 story stick framed

buildings totaling 213 units resulting in a true Texas Wrap. Two of the wood-framed building

set atop a two- story podium post tensioned concrete deck.

DEFORGE MARITIME, Seattle, WA 2018-2019

SUPERINTENDENT, Supervised the acquisition and complete overhaul of two marine barges.

The spud barge “EITRI” and the transport barge “Husky 78” are the two most recent additions to

to join the fleet of equipment owned and operated by Dan DeForge.

ECHELCON CONSTRUCTION, San Jose, CA 2017-2018

SUPERINTENDENT, Five-Story multi-family/retail project located on Stockton St. in San Jose.

Owner, Dan Hudson is committed to quality and will deliver this beautiful project early 2020.

MICHAEL ROBERTS CONSTRUCTION, Oakland, CA 2016-2017

SUPERINTENDENT/PROJECT MANAGER, A three phased multi-family/retail project on Telegraph

Street between 29th and 30th near downtown. This challenging project required a below grade

garage and included car stacking devices capable of housing multiple vehicles in vertical sequence.

DOUGLAS ROSS CONSTRUCTION, San Mateo, CA 2014-2015

SUPERINTENDENT, Located at 2000 Delaware St. in San Mateo. Project was the second part

of a two-part project consisting of 60 Units each sharing a common on grade garage and on

podium courtyards. Doug Ross, my employer, was both General Contactor during construction

as well as Owner after construction of 2000 Delaware Street.

DOUGLAS ROSS CONSTRUCTION, Milpitas, CA 2013-2014

SUPERINTENDENT, Upon returning from Austin Texas I reported to APEX, a 460-Unit complex

in Milpitas. This project was a true Texas Wrap consisting of nine separate buildings surrounding

a nine-story parking garage concluding with a swimming pool and clubhouse on top of the garage.

MANSON CONSTRUCTION, Austin TX 2011-2013

SUPERINTENDENT, Project consisted of constructing the water side of a water treatment

plant for the City of Austin. The job included all falsework required to place and drive a 9 foot

diameter caisson into a 13-foot diameter drilled shaft 86 feet below grade in 110 feet of water.

The project concluded by submerging and bolting a 120-foot diagonal water intake pipe.

MANSON CONSTRUCTION, New Orleans, LA 2010-2011

SUPERINTENDENT, Project Hurricane Katrina Wall comprised of the construction of two flood

wall gates. The gates closed openings in the 25-foot high wall, one for commercial use and one for

private vessel traffic. Both gates were constructed with driving hundreds of concrete piles under

water, building road decks above, and all supported by poured in place 32-foot high walls.

SUPERINTENDENT, Constructed projects Villa Valencia (condos, townhomes, and retail) concurrently

with Magliocco (condos) both in San Jose followed by project 2030 North Pacific in Santa Cruz.

DOUGLAS ROSS CONSTRUCTION, San Jose, CA 2004-2006

SUPERINTENDENT, Constructed projects Laurels, Redwoods, and Sycamores on First Street in

San Jose. All three four-story buildings over post tensioned garages totaling 1,410 Units.

KFM-KIEWIT/FCI CONSTRUCTORS/MANSON CONSTRUCTION, Oakland, San Francisco, CA 2002-2004

PROJECT FIELD ENGINEER AND SUPERINTENDENT, $1B Caltrans San Francisco-Oakland Bay

Bridge Skyway project.

MARINE SUPERINTENDENT 2003-2004

Scheduled land and water transfers of cranes and other equipment via barges.

Offloaded and distributed deliveries; replenished welding supplies and other consumables.

Expedited all barge and tug moves for all work covering 32 coffer cells.

PILE DRIVING FIELD ENGINEER 2002-2003

Driving 360, 8-foot diameter, 3” thick steel shell piles 340-feet into the bay floor.

Designed and built the sound attenuator used on all production pile. (Bubble Curtain)

Created job hazard analysis, work plans, submittals, and schedule of values.

Coordinated quality control and safety and provided employee orientation and follow-up.
