Designed and implemented kernel module for File Replication product

Designed the next generation of File Replication kernel module to utilize the new features from VxFS. Played a key role in a group of 5 team members to implement the kernel device driver to intercept the system call in the VFS layer and able to replicate the same system call to the dedicated file system base on the customer configuration. Wrote up the technical specification and test plan as well as implemented test harness to verify the kernel replication module.

Sustained the current release of VERITAS File System (VxFS)

Sustained, stabilized, and enhanced the local VxFS and CFS (VERITAS Cluster File System) on the Solaris and HPUX platforms. Also worked on critical system panic, data corruptions, system hang and performance issue. Handled customer escalations and critical issues on the daily issue. Provided RCA and interfaced with the customers, third-party vendors, field personnel, and occasionally visit customer sites to resolve customers’ critical problems. Implemented VxFS to new Solaris release

Ported the current release of VxFS to Solaris 9 release. Rewrote the Asynchronous I/O code path for the new callback function introduced in the Solaris 9 release.
