My accrued clinical experiences totaled 672 hours delineated as follows:

112 hours in acute care adults hospitalized for acute or exacerbated illnesses and injuries; in addition to medically managing inpatient psychiatric adult patients with Tonisha Harrison, CNP at Promedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania, OH

241 hours in sports medicine for both pediatric and adult populations managing acute and chronic injuries of the general population and Adrian College and surrounding high school sports teams with Dr. Aron Gornowicz, DO, FAOASM, OT, at Promedica Physicians Family Medicine in Adrian, MI. In this office I also precepted with a family practice physician’s assistant, Alisha Hall, PA-C, providing care to all ages, birth to geriatric populations and managed a variety of health conditions, including chronic illnesses, mental health concerns, and acute illnesses and injuries.

December 2022-Present. Nurse Practitioner. Greater Midwest Urgent Care, Toledo, OH. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of patient conditions and illnesses in a timely and efficient manner. Prescribe medications, order lab and imaging tests, interpret diagnostic tests, and notify patients of their results appropriately. Perform an array of procedure including laceration repair and incision and drainage. Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with clinic staff. Assistant in providing bachelor’s level nursing students with clinical instruction and modeling nursing skills by demonstration that is in line with the core measures and course syllabus of University of Toledo. Provide supervision over all nursing tasks of a 9-student clinical group. December 2016-April 2018. Hospice RN. Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Adrian, MI. Provide end of life care to patients in their home environment. Provide education to patient and family regarding comfort medications, symptom management, and progression of end-of-life phases. Monitor patients for signs of end-of-life processes. Use therapeutic communication with patients and family members during a difficult lifetime event. Educate caregivers and patients on home remedies for medical care in the dying process. Communicate with hospice team members, including physicians, medical social workers, massage therapist, spiritual care, and the nursing team to provide optimal patient care.
