SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Scully Signal Company Wilmington, Ma June 2012 – Present I went back as an in-house Senior Designer in 2012 at Scully Signal, an electronic manufacturing company. At Scully, I am the only graphics person on staff, so I run the entire department and service the graphic needs for every division in the entire company both domestically and for our international offices. I design, illustrate, and produce all product documentation, create and place all the advertising and marketing graphics in dozen or so trade magazine as well as design and produce our trade show booth graphics. I designed, built and maintain the company web site, work with engineering on product development, and design Powerpoint presentations for Sales

& Service. I create interactive demos, animations, and videos of product, and produce all product and application photography. I maintain a budget, work with vendors directly, and am an ISO 9001 internal auditor.

Siebel Systems Burlington, Ma 1999 – 2002

I took a Senior Designer position at Siebel Systems in the fall of 1999, working in the training and media group. I worked closely with authors and instructors creating a wide range of info-graphics, designs and layouts used in web based CRM and live trainings. I was at Siebel for a little over 3 years before it was purchased by Oracle and the media division dissolved. GRAPHICS DESIGNER

PictureTel Andover, Ma 1997 – 1999

PictureTel was my first job in the graphic arts after art school. I was hired full time in the documentation department after my summer internship ended. I worked with a team of technical writers creating line art/ technical drawings for manuals, install instructions, data sheets, etc. I then started doing the layout and production work on the documentation as well. While still supporting this department, I moved into the User Interface group and created a range of graphics including icons, backgrounds, user screens, and navigation. I also supported sales and marketing with graphics, signage, Powerpoint presenta- tions, and animations. I was at PictureTel for 2.5 years before purchased by Polycom and my entire division of engineering was laid off.
