1. Tech. Lead (STB Testing) With L&T Technology Services at Chennai. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client: Technicolor

Working on Android,OTT & IPTV STBs for performing various testing techniques sanity, regression, functional, Non-functional, stability, OBA testing.

Worked on Etisalat IPTV STB for bootloader testing.

Performing various testing techniques sanity, regression, functional testing on the latest builds released by developers.

Following Various test plans and test cases to make the software stable.

Worked on Voo Alticast STB for image flashing and sanity test cases execution.

Worked on Tata Play (STB-HSV2034TAT4) for bootloader testing, new and existing features, OTA software downloading and various scenarios testing.

Working with STB Partners (CAS, STB Vendors) for planning new implementation & to define combined solutions.

Defining Test plans for STB Hardware / Middleware / OTA software & validating the same.

Tested the complete whole cycle of the DVB-C STB like OVT, Jiuzhou, Changhong STBs.

The execution includes bug validation, Sanity testing, Regression testing & adhoc testing.

Manage OTA upgrades for all the boxes in all the Headend across India and making record of issues, bugs and reproducible scenarios for issue fixing.

Closely interacted with vendors and internal teams for all open issues and maintaining completion of activities as per planned time lines.

Integration & Certification of the STB for Conditional Access System (CAS) parameters which Involves Fingerprinting, scrambling, messaging, Proper Encryption & de-cryption of Channels.

UAT and training of field support team members & customer experience team.

Management of all operational channels as per DVB and MPEG standards.

Configuration & Installation of 550(HD & SD) channels on IP base setup of Tandberg, Ericsson, Decide & Luminance equipments etc.

● Worked on Gospell, Elemental servers and Eventis PSI/SI servers.
