Each year as a volunteer I visit the clearly school to screen the students for decay and oral hygiene. Permission slips are returned to each students parents that include description of decay either present or not present
With the level. This will initiate a conversation with the students parent and guidance counselor to have the student seek care urgently or not. It also determines if the student has ever seen a dentist My annual visit is ongoing for the last ten years and since it is a private institution the students remain indefinitely. The popularity of the event I create and response has been amazing over the years from nobody going to the dentist to each and every student (age 6 to age 30) to everyone visiting the dentist at least once per year
