In 2021 i was working in the lake erie ddg navy vessel as a journeyman structural welder and the first couple weeks i was welding foundations in different spaces of the ship but then was reassigned by my supervisor at the time and was told to stay ahead of the rest of the welders and just lay out and fit up the foundations that way when a welder would be done in one space the next space would be ready for hot work/welding. At times i would tack some foundations myself for more productivity 2
