I now have a small construction business. Everything from interior demo to finish paint. Throughout my years in Construction in Drywall and working for other companies I’ve done electrical which basically was drilling holes and running wires in new homes and then devising them. Running home runs from the panel up or just wiring in outlets in bedroom and a lot of renovations. I worked for a mechanical company which was boilers in a lot of plumbing in new homes and renovations basically was just helping the guy that owned the company then I would cut pipes and sweat pipes together then test them for leaks and such. Ive done metal framing. Wood framing. Carpets. Tile. Drop ceilings. Etc. When i was in hoghschool at dover i started doing cad 1-2 and liked it and got a recommendation from my teacher to go to the Concord tech to further CAD unfortunately things happened and I wasn’t able to go but I was always interested in that type of stuff.

I would drive into the city every morning for about 5:00 AM as so I could get premium parking and not have to pay an arm and a leg every day and then wait till six or 7 AM whatever the start time on the job was that I was on. I mainly would work off lifts all the time because I had all of my Lift licenses and osha 10 and 20 i believe. And I don’t really mind heights and working out of lifts so I would mainly work out of the sky boom lifts which head tracks that you drove to the part of the building where you needed it and then set up barriers and all the safety stuff and every day we had hardhat safety glasses pants boots Gloves and hide his shirts on for safety and then if I was working in the sky lift I would have to have everything tethered off like my tools my hardhat stuff like that that could potentially fall and hurt someone and this lift win anywhere from five or 10 feet all the way up till I think 60 or 70 feet. I did a lot of work and a lot of buildings worked a lot of weekends almost 3 months straight and on a lot of the smaller jobs I was learning how to kind of be a foreman and run guys and Jobs. The last job I completed before Covid was the new science and engineering Center, at Harvard and I was there for 3 1/2 years and then when Covid hit I was just sick of the drive every morning and every afternoon and there’s too much politics with the union for me so i then decided to start another company for my self. This time all aroind construction co. Not just drywall.

I owned a drywall company for eight years in Iran the company I did the bidding and quotes. I did the measuring and getting materials together and scheduled deliveries. I scheduled workers or found and hired workers. Sometimes 3-4 jobs going on at once. And after a job was sandid i would prime them and do a final clean up. Pick up checks to deposit and pay workers. I only got rid of this business as i got a job oppertunity in the union in boston where i was a taper foreman and kinda ran guys and made sure things were getting done right and on time in the downtown city part of boston in the big buildings.
