The Caregiver Project September 2017 - Present

Founder and President of 501(c)3 dedicated to elevating caregiving in America through advocacy and legislation. By rebuilding our healthcare system at it’s foundation with a ‘living wage’ ultimately fill all healthcare worker roles. Worked with US Senator Patty Murray and Biden Administrations Council of Economic Advisors to promote the formation of a National Caregiver Corps and $12 an hour wage subsidy.

The Gardens at Marysville February 2022 - October 2022 Interim Executive Director: Hired to stabilize staffing, eliminate agency use, replace Health and Wellness Director, Business Office Manager and Sales Manager. Provided oversight of a 3.1 million dollar renovation project which included transitioning 10 apartments to a 20 bed Memory Care Center. Successfully completed all goals and hired a permanent Executive Director. Waatu, Inc January 2001-September 2019

Owner and President: Successfully operated two Nursing Homes, two Assisted Living Facilities and an Adult Family Home in Northwest Washington. Personally ran San Juan Rehab and Care which was featured nationally on both PBS and NPR for pioneering care philosophy. Anomaly in Medicare Wage Index made maintaining continued quality impossible and returned facilities to their landlord after 18 years.
