Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited about the current surge of investment in the semiconductor industry, and about how close the needs of your company are to the positions I’ve held in the past that best suited my strengths. I loved working in the semiconductor construction industry. In 1995, Hyundai Semiconductor contracted with the City of Eugene Oregon to provide a full staff of inspectors (including myself) for the duration of building their facility. The learning curve was enormous, which thoroughly energized me. I loved it! Those 16 months changed me and changed the course of my life. At project’s conclusion, I changed direction and went into construction management, as you can see from my resume.
In the early 2000’s, the semiconductor industry faced a sudden shift that caused costs to be greater than price, which led to many projects being halted. At this time, the energy sector was booming. Thus, I transitioned into energy construction management.
Several years later, my husband suffered a heart attack. He required an abundance of care and oversight, so I chose to exit the work force. In the ensuing years, I yearned to return to construction management, especially the semiconductor sector. My husband, gratefully, no longer requires my assistance, and circumstances have permanently changed allowing me ongoing freedom to pursue my personal career. I am eager to reinsert myself into the greatest construction field I have ever experienced: semiconductors. Returning to a role, regardless if I’m a team member with the Construction Management Group or if I am representing the interest of the owner, both are enormously appealing to me. I look forward to discussing any opportunities you may have.
Sincerely,
Sina Turner

My positions within semiconductor and power plant construction management teams included Project Controls, Scheduling, Equipment Procurement, MEP Coordination, Systems Commissioning, Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Document Control and ICBO Code Enforcement Proactively inspired and coordinated on-time under-budget completion of large projects entirely within specifications. Analytical, methodical, disciplined work ethic. Built strong team dynamics by guiding team and tradespeople to coordinate with each other to achieve successful outcomes for all Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and dedicated to producing reliable results in accordance with, or exceeding, corporate expectations
Able to quickly learn new technologies and software as needed to optimally execute my responsibilities Skills
• Using Excel, created a data base and spreadsheets to maintain Daily Progress, produced weekly Progress reports and daily Man Hour Expenditure Reports to Project Manager on Combined Cycle Power Plant project
• Used P-3 Scheduling software to develop start-up and commissioning schedule for 1200 pieces of equipment at Infineon Technologies
• Utilized Access software to create a data base to implement a Proactive approach to Tracking and Documenting all Structural and Mechanical inspections for the Hyundai E-4 Fab facilitating an uninterrupted construction schedule for the Fabrication facility, CUB and Administration building
Team Builder
• As a MEP Project Engineer coordinated 7 Design Build contractors. When hired, they were each working independently without integration of plans or drawings. Brought them together and impressed the importance of teamwork and coordination. Ultimately, as a team, we coordinated each floor (6 buildings, 23 floors) with installation and delivery schedules based on elevations establishing sequence of construction. This extensive coordination effort resulted in high productivity and ultimately increased profitability for all 7 contractors. End result everyone was successful including the owner (Fluor Daniel)
