United States Army – First Army, Rock Island Arsenal, IL. 40 Hours/Week

Project Management Simulation Exercise Planner July 2020 — Present

Provided Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and Product/Project Management, Exercise Design/Planning, and Simulation Operations. Project/Product Manager for the United States Forces Command “Pershing Strike” annual exercises that trains up to 8,000 personnel on follow on deployment to foreign countries.

Provided development of software capabilities and storylines that would be implemented during the Pershing Strike Exercise. Provided key correspondence representing First Army command during Initial/Main/Final Planning Reviews, and Conferences. Worked with Military and Civilian Enterprise Partners regarding mobilization and/or deployment storylines to get input and desired end state. Provided management oversight for Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) to support mobilization execution for Culminating Training Events (CTE’s) for division level mobilization training events. Provided management on oversight and leadership to over 100 First Army military and civilian staff in executing mobilization operations for the exercise.

Provided Project/Product Management Training on policies and procedures to look at current inefficiencies and recommendations on what needed to improve and produce ways to make those exercises better.

Provided management coordination for leadership to attend multiple division training events at Fort Hood, TX, and Fort Campbell, KY. Coordinated information with leadership in locations of training exercises, and Points of Contact (POCs) for executive officers and Aide-de-Camps. Provide Project Management protocol procedures and setting up meetings with leadership between First Army and Division and Mission Training Complex (MTC) leadership. Product/Project Manager July 2017 — June 2020

Provided Product/Project Leadership support in managing staff taskers and future storylines validation. Provided proper formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling when providing formal correspondence to generals and Senior level leadership. Performed directorate-level Product/Project Management administrative functions which included visitor access, phone calls, and scheduling appointments for leaders. Coordinated with Senior Leadership on ceremony procedures for retirement ceremonies and change of commands using appropriate protocol procedures. United States Army Pacific (USARPAC- G3) Training Directorate, Simulation Branch – Fort Shafter, HI.

Simulation Operations Officer for a Theater Army Service Component Command within United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) Headquarters. Supported Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVC-G) throughout the Pacific Rim.

Ensured quality Project/Product Management in implementation of Commanding Generals guidance in execution, training support, and management to eight Major Subordinate Commands within the Pacific Rim (South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Alaska, and Hawaii). Provided new Product Management capabilities to foreign nations, with the results of over 102,000 Soldiers being trained due to our Product/Project Management capabilities.

As a Product/Project Manager my team conceptualized and executed an orientation and indoctrination program for soldiers and civilians that enhanced the training directorate teamwork and cohesion across 13 functions, using cross-functional skills to increase efficiency by 45%, which providing greater capabilities and faster results.

Simulation Project Management Schofield Barracks, HI

2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT), 25th Infantry Division, 40 Hours/Week August 2011 – May 2014

Simulation Project Management Officer that supported six battalion level organizations and five separate companies totaling 4,200 personnel.

As the Project Manager I was responsible for the planning, resourcing, and synchronization of all Brigade training events. My project Management team introduced new training capabilities using updated simulation support during our unit military exercises, providing great information capabilities to our Commander.

As the unit Project Simulation Manager, I provided key input to storylines with information, and I built, and implemented the Brigade’s tactical Knowledge Management Standard Operation Procedures (KMSOP).

I Served as the Brigade Subject Matter Expert (SME) on finding new ways that provides the unit greater capability in Simulation by using Project/Product Management.

As the unit Project Simulation Manager, I assisted the Brigade Executive Officer in advising the commander on all simulations, knowledge management, Mission Command Systems Integration, and mission command support requirements.

As the unit Project Manager, I built 6 different Microsoft SharePoint Portal’s for the Brigade over the course of time at the Brigade (2007/2013 MS SharePoint) for Unclassified, Secret, and CENTRIX systems. Was the SME in how to build the MS SharePoint Portals to provide the Brigade Commander the most up-to-date information from staff sections on enemy and coalition troop movements.

Intelligence Officer – Fort Bliss, TX. May 2009 – August 2011

3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Light), 1st Armored Division

Provided Tactical analysis intelligence planning for two battalions (1500 military personnel). As the single Intelligence Officer for each Battalion, I provided Intelligence Product Management to commanders that would affect kinetic results on enemy combatants on the ground.

Instituted Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance paperwork and periodical security clearances for over 1500 military personnel.

As the Intelligence Project Manager, I excelled in arms room validations, and validated over 10 arms rooms which had to be approval through military channels and provide all units the capability to have store all tactical weapons in certified Arms Rooms and have continual access to their weapons.
