I have a Diploma in Developmental Service Worker (DSW). I have experience in working with Individual with Developmental Disability, both in Residential homes, and facilities. I have worked with individuals and adults with Physical disability with Behavior problem, with multiple diagnosis and individuals with different disabilities such as: Autism, Behavior Problem, Down syndrome, Seizure, Pica, Schizophrenia, Psychotic illness.
As part of this comprehensive education, I also participated in hands on training to develop my skills, and really put to work all the valuable information I have learned in caring and Teaching with developmental disabilities.
I learned how to create and structure outdoor/indoor play, and create fun games and activities that would be fun for the individuals, as well as teach them something about their world.
