Independent research

I have spent the last few years researching and studying Neurotrauma and the connection to substance abuse, especially as it pertains to combat veterans and occupational hazards involving first responders. My research includes The Polyvagal Theory, The Neuroscience of Addiction, The Disordered Mind: Effects of trauma on mental disorders and Brain Neurotrauma; Molecular, neuropsychology and rehabilitation aspects.

Awards

I worked with a lobbyist group involved in Criminal Justice Reform, Healthcare reform and Veterans Affairs committee, and participated in the structure and process of HB373 which is Conviction Reduction opening the way for “regardless of prison sentence or jail sentence”. Volunteer/ Community involvement

I volunteer my time to help the Military, First responders and Law Enforcement communities that struggle with mental health, suicidal ideations and substance abuse disorder from all over the U.S and local communities through online groups and group outings here in our state.
