My associates degree is in paramedicine, so if you are looking for someone that works well under pressure and still manages to pay attention to detail, I’m your guy. When I first got out of high school I worked at McLane Southern grocery distribution as a selector. We never knew how long we would be there. It all depended on the tickets. I drove a pallet jack and eventually started with the forklift, and I put in regular 12 hour days, but the norm was closer to 15. They didn’t and my understanding is they still don’t pay what you guys do, but with the overtime, the money was good. Being burnt out on the EMS work, this is exactly the kind of thing I have been looking for. I actually applied to work in the freezer for McLane so I applied. They called a few days later and I am supposed to be getting back with them on a time to interview. After hearing how enthusiastic your employees are and wanting to work night shifts, I’d much rather hear from you guys. Hopefully this will work out for us both. I have actually had a call from them recently to talk because they have a forklift operator in the freezer section. I loved the team atmosphere there. I was always willing to get off the forklift and help pull orders. Overall, I loved the warehouse work.

I hope to hear from you soon. I like the idea of coming to Hammond from McComb and working a full shift. I feel like we can get so busy that time will fly by. As a paramedic, there were times we would would go 24 hours without leaving the station and just when you get comfortable the bottom falls out.
