CORE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Clinical Services: Assisted the Quality Department of FWMBC revise the ACNO/Nursing Supervisor Report for easier readability and easier was to manage when moving patient from ER to beds onto the floors and units in the hospital. Paper report consists of patient name, ER bed number, time or arrival to ER, time floor/unit bed give to ER US, to patient leave ER, time patient arrives to floor and nursing staff involved. This helped track information before the BEDBOARD was more involved.

Policy Development:

Helped revise the DEATH REPORT completed by nursing staff on the floor/ER/Unit where patient pass. Assisted revising the policy to help the flow of the patient become easier for floor to morgue to funeral home. Helped revise the Patient Belongings policy with Quality Management to help prevent patient belongings that arrived in the ER to prevent lose between the ER and proper placement in the room they were assigned. This consisted of the ER Reg and Security actually photographing each personal belonging going into the safe and being put on the patient chart. In case any other belongings were brought in other than that of those not brought in during admission could not be tagged as ON ADMIT belongings.

Worker's Fatigue Power Point created by myself and another colleague and actually adapted into our Healthstream as a yearly learning for CEUs. It is a Learning Tool of how not only overworking is a major issue., but other

issues such as not receiving proper breaks, not taking lunches, and even the hearing the call light systems and phones causes over stimulations and causes Worker's Fatigue and ways that can prevent these issues.
