Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to Project Manager and functionally to Head QMS, responsible for all QAQC Functions of project.

Ensure establishment of PQP, approval & its implementation.

Set up and monitor QA/QC activities at site.

Support MR in QMS activities.

Ensure preparation and incorporation of all spec requirements in Method statements including corresponding Inspection & Test Plans and Formats.

Assist project team in effective implementation of approved project quality plan.

Communicate customer requirements, Quality objectives & PQP to all concerned.

Induct new joiners into PQP (QMS).

Plan and conduct of internal audits as per schedule and corrective actions on time.

Monitoring customer complaints and coordinate with respective dept. for analysing root cause and corrective actions on time.

Prepare Bi-weekly site QAQC report including reporting of NCR raised by auditor, root cause, corrective action status and submit to site company representative.

Reviewing all products and services prior to procurement to ensure conformance to specified requirements.

Ensure procurement control through all source evaluation and selection, source inspection and evaluation of objective evidence of quality furnished by supplier against the project specification.

Ensure all products are evaluated according to project technical specification regardless of discipline involved.

Conduct inspection & tests on materials & workmanship as per approved ITP and maintain necessary records.

Inspection and approval for incoming materials/equipment.

Coordinate with customer representative for various inspections & clearances

Raise NCRs for any deviations on materials / workmanship/process.

Initiate necessary corrective actions through concerned to close on time.

Coordinate with independent laboratory for material/ other tests as required.

Identify, Calibrate, and maintain Master list of testing and measuring equipment

Ensure that construction Contract or complies with the requirement of the approved contract quality plan, including all the sequential inspection operations.

My nature of Job in that project was Civil Site Engineer for Earthworks, Backfilling, Field Density Test by using Nuclear Density Gauge/TROXLER machine to find out Relative Density of Sand, Standard Maximum Density of General Fill material and Select Fill material. Structural works, Concrete works, Landscaping, Road works, provide solutions to the problems with customer sanction / approvals through designated channels. Control further processing of non-conforming items, deficiencies or unsatisfactory conditions until rectification and any remedial action is approved. Conduct random surveillance on operator's qualifications, tools and equipment, working practices as well as storage and preservations.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction

Required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.

Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are

as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.

Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site En-charge for inspection and meeting about quality

Problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.

Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.

Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection

requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other

QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.

Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering

construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.

Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and

Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.

Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
