RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertake monitoring, supervision, and management of the environmental aspects of the works in accordance with the Client's environmental policies, procedures, CEMP, and frameworks.
Maintaining environmental performance records.
Ensure company Environmental policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively.
Prepare and Review Environmental documentation as requested.
Facilitate and participate in environmental risk assessments and ensure risk registries are maintained up to date.
Develop an Environmental Activity plan and ensure all Environmental requirements including inspections, audits, and emergency response are listed as appropriate at intervals of time.
Prepare a schedule and conduct internal and external Environmental audits.
Monitor Environmental statistics and identify trends. Report trends in a timely manner and prepare action plans to promote continual improvement.
Actively participate in Environmental safety campaigns and other initiatives.
Follow-up closeout and maintain Environmental central action tracking registry.
Initiate Environmental training needs analysis and coordinate implementation.
Review and update of project environmental deliverables and ensure these documents are implemented appropriately.
Oversee field examinations and report hazardous locations and materials.
Maintain management information systems that identify the location of hazardous sites, chemical inventories, and complaint investigations.
Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
Collect and analyze test samples of food, soil, water, and air.
Implement spill prevention programs and hazardous waste regulations.
Oversee waste disposal and treatment programs.
Investigating employee complaints concerning exposure to hazardous materials or air pollutants.
Development & design construction aspect and impact assessments.
Provide input to and attend project completion reviews.
Identify all survival equipment required in accordance with COMPANY/Client specification.
Investigate the root causes of Environmental complaints put forward by staff members, customers, clients, and contractors and report the result to the management.
Follow-up to ensure that corrective actions are implemented where necessary and ensure that any certification requirements are complied with.
Coordinate the preparation and presentation of field Environmental meetings.
Coordinate and participate in the investigation of Environmental accident and near misses.
Review and analyses accidents and near miss incidents and make corrective action recommendations.
Preparing incident notification and investigation reports attached with the root cause and implementation records.
Coordinate and ensure spill emergency response exercises and drills are conducted.
Ensure that operation employees, contractors, and site visitors receive Environmental induction.
Responsible for preparing written weekly and monthly Environmental reports, statistics, and presentations related to Environmental performance.
Inspection and preventive maintenance programs, setting up efficient record keeping systems of all equipment under my responsibility and recommend replacement for defective equipment.
Make sure all the work permit requirements are fulfilled at job site.
Handling all the Environmental Documents at office, DAILY reporting to Project Manager of observations and rectifications.
Making presentations for daily observations rectification and mailing to concerned department.
Preparing weekly toolbox talks presentations. Preparing weekly meetings reports .
