To whom it may concern:

I am extremely interested in a Senior Mining Engineer position.

I am an American citizen from Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Currently, I am available for new positions.

Recently, I was a permit writer the State of Nevada in the Nevada department of environmental protection, bureau of mining regulation and reclamation.

My previous engineering-related position, I worked as an Engineering teacher at the Center for Academic Success in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Previously, I was a ventilation / mining engineer at Simsmart Technologies – A Howden Company (HST).

I have both excellent technical skills and communication skills. I have 13 years in the mining industry that include three years’ experience in engineering in academia at the University of Nevada, Reno, and University of Arizona.

I also have 10 years’ experience teaching in the United States and in South Korea. I have experience with children and adults of all ages. I also have experience with engineering software, such as ArcGIS, Minesight mine planning software, Surpac mine planning software, Mine2-4D, MineCAD and AutoCAD 2013 software. In addition, I have experience with VnetPC, ClimSIM, Ventsim, Vuma, MULTIFLUX and SmartEXEC ventilation programs.

I graduated with a master’s degree in Mining Engineering with an emphasis on Underground Mine Ventilation in August 2012 from the University of Nevada, Reno.

I have an extensive background in engineering, including experience as a Machine Maintenance Engineer that included open-pit mine supervisory experience for a sand and gravel producer in Southern California and open pit experience as an intern for Santa Fe Gold Corporation (Newmont).

In addition, I have underground mining experience as a student at the San Xavier Student Mine and as a Mine Ventilation Engineer at Vale’s Copper Cliff mine.

Before HST, I was an independent consultant to the CEO of SkyPath Partners of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia that was a start-up company. SkyPath Partners is now called SkyPath Capital Partners Limited and is now based in Hong Kong.

While as a Design Engineer for Stratum Group, that was also an engineering start-up, I was part of a team preparing a Feasibility Report for Brigus Gold’s future Grey Fox Open Pit and Underground mine.

As a Ventilation / (EIT) Engineer-in-Training, I was on a team of mining professionals, including Ventilation professionals. I was responsible for the air testing of several levels in the Copper Cliff Mine.

As a Research Assistant, I was on a team of Mine Ventilation Engineers. We have studied the ventilation system at our industrial partner Barrick's Goldstrike mine. We tested, updated, and improved an existing ventilation computer program proven in the nuclear industry and applying it to the mining industry called Multiflux.

Sincerely,

Raymond Grymko
