Employment History:

-E Tech Group (FKA Banks Integration) Lead Automation Engineer II, June 2022 to Present. Hired due to proximity to a customer site and background in BMS systems including ALC, Siemens, Metasys.

Limited experience with Citect SCADA software.

Worked with RS Logix 5000.

Supported Biomarin with conversion from Siemens Apogee to JCI Metasys Support Gilead with reversing engineering of existing Siemens Apogee system in Oceanside. Support Ultragenyx with Distech Tridium system.

Designed retrofix package for Ultragenyx critical systems UPS and integration packages.

-Johnson Controls / Senior Automation Technician-November 2019 to June 2022: Hired on due to relationship with the Veteran’s Administration. Principal tech for third party and high voltage systems; including: Solar, Fuel Cell, PLC, Tridium based systems.

Primary tech for Kaiser Roseville, Antioch. Energy manager for Kaiser Roseville. Recruited by E Tech to handle a local chemical plant.

-Emcor Services / Mesa Energy Systems, Automation Technician-September 2017 to November 2019: Service Department Automation Technician supporting mostly 3rd party and industrial/process systems. Customers include Colliers International, Veteran’s Administration @ former Mather & McClellen AFBs, Lafayette Veteran’s Memorial Convention Center, Milteyni Bio Tech, USPS, San Andreas Adult Detention Facility as well as Travis and Beal Air Force Bases. Designed and budgeted for $800K renovation of the Department of Justice Facility in Sacramento going from pneumatic and electro pneumatic controls to a Distech platform including a fiber optic backbone and ethernet ring topologies.

Only industrial automation specialist in area supporting: Allen Bradley, Siemens Apogee, Siemens Simatic, Westinghouse, G.E., Andover, Automated Logic, ABB VFDs and PLCs and other. Well versed in BAS controls by Johnson and Distech as well as the Tridium platform with experience on several workbenches.

Assisted Applied group repining chiller panels and troubleshooting motor controls/inverters on large tonnage chillers.

Recruited by JCI to support the Veteran’s Administration Retrofits.

-Nidec Industrial Automation, Field Service Engineer- July 2013 to August 2017: Offered position with the Cranes and Coastline Department specializing in Mobile Harbor and Ship to Shore Gantry Cranes as well as shipboard systems. Major overalls on 2 of USCG Ice Breakers in the Great Lakes area. (Biscayne and Mackinaw) Primary Tech for all STS and MHS cranes in S.E. USA as well as Caribbean. Also handled remote controls access and phone support for weekly on call rotations in other industries including handling calls for the Big Red Tram in Jackson Hole, several drag line cranes at open pit mines and tilt vessels in steel mills in BC Canada. Left job to move to California.

-Central Florida Mechanical and Electrical (CFMe), Principal- June 2006 to present: Started controls contracting business doing work for Disney World facilities at their request. Also had customers that included Florida Hospitals, Health First, U.S.P.S., Universal Studios, Holy Land Experience and N.A.S.A.

Subcontracted by Gerelco Electrical Contractors for project manager and field foreman for CT#6 on ILC lighting controls/Siemens DDC/Danfoss VFDS/McQuay Chillers, Welcome Center at CPA on all lighting and building controls/entire mechanical system and core electric, Tag Recognition System installations, CCTV installations

Designed/Fabricated/Installed/Tested an automatic transfer switch controller for a 13.8KVAC main service at B.C.C. when F.P.L. gave them 30 days to have the transfer switch work in automatic. Projected savings to college in excess of $50MUSD over lifetime of system. Continue to run business via a proxy.

-Siemens Building Technologies (Florida), Power Gen, Service Specialist Senior- Mar 2006 Sep 2008: Hired as resident technician and mechanic per recommendation from Disney; based on my experience with them at the California Adventure parks and the work ups at Disney Land as well as well as their other properties in Southern California. Worked with Carrier, Siemens, A.L.C. and A.B. controls/Trane, Carrier and York Chillers/Siemens, ABB and Danfoss VFDs.

Tasked with being primary tech for Brevard Community College (4 campuses) and back up to primary tech for O.U.C. Cooling.

-United Technologies, Carrier Commercial Systems and Services- February 1995-February 2006: Originally hired for V.F.D. service department as field technician. Additionally worked my way into the mechanical and controls service departments as well due to my electrical and electronics background.

Worked with Carrier, Siemens, A.L.C. controls as well as Trane, Carrier and York Chillers and Toshiba, Siemens, ABB and Danfoss VFDs.

Tasked with being primary tech for all Disneyland Park systems and studios in Burbank and Hollywood.

Spent 17 months as Level 4 support for all electrical, mechanical, HVAC issues for GAP Clothing Company supporting all stores throughout North America during a full platform startup to bring all stores into a central monitoring system.

Spent almost 2 years supporting the Limited Stores during a nationwide integration initiative. Offered a position with Siemens handling Disneyworld in Florida. Education:
