Member of a team (95% of team is offshore) implementing enhancements and customizations for a large client to get them up and running by January 1. Enhancements are ongoing.

Analyze, code, unit test, produce test plans and extensive documentation for implementation.

All work is on mainframe, core system is VSAM, with files copied to DB2 for some scheduled and all ad hoc reporting.

Releases are every 30 to 45 days, with hard deadlines.

Member of Coverage Verifier (CV) application team supporting large DB2 database housing data from contributing insurance companies.

Supported all required applications changes and provided subject matter expertise to the group rewriting the Auto Liability Insurance Reports (ALIR) application using .NET on an AWS platform.

Managed local and offshore resources in automating share lot fund class exchanges. Developed reconciliation and rebalancing algorithms that helped recover over $200,000 in unearned third-party commissions.

Corrected and redesigned application to copy clerical and financial account data from merging to merged funds. Process enabled eight large fund consolidations to be completed within two weeks.

Guided technical development of offshore team in standardization of application security across three dissimilar instances of MFT core online system.

Automated calculation of daily withholding for mutual fund redemptions. Gathered requirements, designed DB2 tables and stored procedures, ASP pages, and Crystal Reports. Installation reduced daily processing time from 2.5 hours to 10 minutes.

Fulfilled all enhancements to New Account Setup (NASU) VB6 application for five years. Key accomplishments were satisfying regulatory requirements for SEC Books and Records and Patriot Acts, also migrating all database tables from Sybase to DB2.

Led team in design, coding, and testing of additional NASU screens, completing the original project goals.
