Resume:

Kole Richmond

I have over eight years experience in law enforcement, starting out at the Wyoming Maximum Security Prison in 2011. While working at the prison for the Wyoming Department of Corrections, I was trained on riot control and cell extractions.

In 2012 I was hired as a Detention Deputy for a federal holding facility, the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office, where I was responsible for, booking in, and taking care of federal inmates. My responsibilities included taking inmate’s to court. While in court my duties were, first and foremost, court room security. On occasion I was required to make arrests. I was responsible for inmate transports while there. When doing transports we shuttled federal inmates all ever the state of Wyoming and Montana for the Federal Marshals.

In 2016 I was hired by the Park County Sheriff’s Office. There I continued doing my usual inmate jail duties, and court room security. After court I was expected to take on the role of a paralegal, and enter the inmate court proceedings paperwork into the computer system.

I was responsible for accepting large amounts of cash from the public, and processing the money as bail for the inmates. There were times of course, where I had to deal with angry family members, and friends of inmates, in a diplomatic manner.

My weapons training was, proficiency with hand cuffs, OC pepper spray, baton, taser, pistol firearms, rifle, shotgun, situational awareness, body language and verbal judo.

I love working security and have a passion for it. I have always enjoyed working with the public as well.

In 2020 I left law enforcement to partner up with my older Brother Kade, as a housing Contractor. We specialize in concrete, roofing, drywall and selling new homes we build. We’ve enjoyed having much success in doing this profession.
