OCEAN INFINITY DEC 2019 – PRESENT

Global Head of New Markets:

My role here is to expand the Group commercial presence into new markets and presenting opportunities to the board at Ocean Infinity for new regions (Far East

& West Africa). This includes;

• Researching the various countries in regions as to suitable target countries for operations including local requirements (tax’s/personnel etc) to operate and provide real commercial value to the company.

• Developing new service lines and, in this element, I have developed a mobile AUV system, a pilot seeps MCS using a nonstandard approach

• Managing the strategic deployment of assets and office locations for the company in new and existing regions.

• Writing strategic company development plans for regions and products.

• Supporting with Business development plans for new areas.

• Strategic development growth for Seeps MCS, AUV strategic Deployment and business plan.

• Developing Armada expansion plans and market sector growth. Projects Director/Global Commercial Lead:

Assisted the CTO with the commercial management of the group (survey) and sales team in transition period between CCO’s. The primary focus was strategic contract and vessel deployment planning for existing vessels and the upcoming Armada fleet.

• Reviewing and drafting costings for projects worldwide, managing the sales team and introducing new targets and regions for the team. o This also included the overall review of all opportunities and risk review for the group.

• Tender management and negotiating contractual terms and rates were also part of my remit.

• Setting dayrate costs for equipment/personnel and vessels.

• Assisting the Armada team with preparing the payloads and requirements in developing the vessel payloads and services to be offered in a stage methodology for optimum operations.

In this role, I had overall responsibility for project delivery for the entire Ocean Infinity Group. Managing the project managers to achieve required results for clients and company.

• I undertook contractual review of ongoing contracts which led to existing unsuitable contracts in a sustainable way and a more focused approach to wining new contracts.

• Managed a fleet of 3x construction vessels setup for deep water AUV and ROV surveys with salvage capabilities.

• Preparing business cases for equipment development and purchasing based on market research and winning projects to present to the board of directors.

Senior Project Manager

In this role, I managed the largest deep water Multiple AUV contract to an oil major’s specification to date. This was completed during the Covid pandemic. I also dealt with all technical operations and contractual management; including variation orders, invoicing and all client interfacing. Freelance 2017 - 2019

Project/Commercial Management Consultant:

Project and commercial management of survey project and technical expertise for the following clients Saipem UK (Nord Stream 2 & NNG), Subsea 7

(trenching and rock dumping-BP Egypt) and Next Geosolutions IFA2 inter connector route/UXO survey and various wind projects. Saipem America (Houston) Jan 12 to Dec 16

Regional Survey & Positioning Coordinate/Survey Manager Management of all survey related topics & sub-contractors for Saipem America. Including commercial/contract management, analysis for tenders/selection of, variation orders/claims and requests for ongoing projects concerning change of scope.

Project Manager Fibre Optical Cable Installation (Perla Project) Commercial/technical management of FOC sub-contractors, including contract negotiations, project scheduling, permitting and budget control. Identifying critical paths for installation activities from cable collection to installation planning. Cable lay including shore approach, trunk line, SDU installation, infield lines and hook-up to platforms. Lead Survey Manager (Perla and Dragon Cigma Projects) Management of surveys/survey sub-contractors throughout the EPIC contract from tenders to final submission of all as built survey documentation. Client liaison concerning all survey matters at senior management level. The projects were full EPIC contracts, including survey support to the entire project team

(subject matter expert).

Saipem UK (London) Dec 08 to Dec 12

Senior Survey Project/Package Manager (Nord Stream) This role included technical, project and commercial management of all survey subcontracts and inhouse companies. Supplying technical expertise for our own vessels and other major subcontractors to the project. The survey works were valued at 80 million euros. Client liaison concerning all survey matters at executive management level.
