It is the one of the major oil and gas exploration and Production Companies in Pakistan. The plant design capacity is 50MMSCFD (Rehman Gas Production Facility). It is a newly developed field with different construction, installation and commissioning activities in progress. I am responsible for monitoring and supervision of all Electrical related activities including installation & commissioning, of gas generators, MCC Panel, power cables laying, plant lighting, preventive & corrective maintenance of Motors, generators, UPS & batteries.

It is the one of major oil and gas exploration and Production Company in Pakistan. The plant design capacity is 300 MMSCFD (Manzalai Central Processing Facility).50 MMSCFD Gurguri Gas Plant and 50 MMCFD Makori Gas Plant.

Power generation.

I have worked on power generators driven by caterpillar gas engine model no. 3516 C,(1.6 MW. 415V, 50Hz) and G3508, 480 KW, 415V 50Hz. Speed/load sharing is controlled by wood ward Governor 2301A,its control system is based on microprocessor Enercon singerpur & Terberg Netherland.

Motor control center.

I have worked on up to 5000 A rating air circuit breaker and Bus bar ABB Arab Egypt in CPF and I have worked on Siemens 1000A rating switch gear motor control Centre in Gurguri gas plant

UN interruptible power supply (UPS).

I have worked on APC SILCON (DENMARK) 24V, 110V, AND 220V ups system. Installation & commissioning of Smart APC UPS rated 37KVA in Gurguri Gas Plant and at CPF, the A C UPS is 32 KW and DC UPS is 2.1 KW by GUTOR Electirc.Ltd Switzerland.

Batteries and Battery Chargers.

I have worked on different type of batteries and battery chargers used for starting of engines as a backup power supply for UPS.

Wellhead Control System.

I have worked on solar system, voltage control by disc regulators, manual charging, testing and PM of batteries. VFD Controlled Equipment. Familiar and Worked on VFDs of Telemecanique model Altivar 71.

Job Title: - Electrical Technician

It is one of the major British Oil Company (LASMO OIL PAKISTAN LTD) in Pakistan. The plant is based on membrane technology to purify natural gas with the design capacity of 200MMSCF/d. I am well aware of Permit to Work System and HSE.

The Plant Power Generation comprises of three-gas engine driven containerized gen-sets and two diesel engines driven containerized gen.-sets. All these generators are controlled through Station Control panel for start/stop and automatic synchronization.

Following are the details of the Equipments, I have the experienced of commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance.

Power Generation

I have worked on Power generators, driven by Caterpillar gas engines Model no. G-3516A and Cummins diesel engines the speed and Woodward electronic governor 2301A controls load sharing.

The generators of the above prime movers are consisting of AVK of Germany. Their excitation system uses auxiliary winding for supply voltage of AVR. The capacity of each generator is 1000KVA, 800KW at 415 Volts.

Its control system is Mitsubishi PLC based and deigned by FG Wilson, England.

Auxiliary Power Supply System

I have worked on provide auxiliary power at wellheads and to contractors through portable generators i.e., Waukesha (86kVA), Yanmar (30KVA) and Honda (5KVA).

Switchgear

I have worked on electrical Switchgear, which comprises of Air circuit breakers of Tera Saki. Its capacity is 3000Amperes. All the protective relays used in this Switchgear are manufactured by GEC England.

VFD Controlled Equipment

Actively participated in commissioning of VFD controlled fan and pump by SIMENS and EUROTHERM.

Motor Control Center and Motors

I have worked on the Motor control centers of Switchgear & Instrumentation. England, Westinghouse USA, and General Electric USA. I can calibrate protective relays of motor control center through primary injection set.

I have worked on filed servicing of motors during P.M. jobs and complete overhauling during the corrective maintenance this includes replacement of bearings and complete testing of motors.

UN-interruptible Power Supply (UPS)

I have worked on 24v, 110VDC, 220 VAC UPS system of Erskine England. Its control uses two inputs one as a main and the other one as by-pass supply.

Batteries and Battery Chargers

I have worked on different type of batteries and battery chargers used for starting of engines as a backup supply for UPS.
