Mechanical Engineer- ETA M&E, Ltd, Abudhabi (June 2011 to July 2013)

Worked as a Mechanical Engineer- HVAC in Cleveland Clinic Abudhabi Project Site from June 2011 to July 2013.

●Shifted 90 Ahus to the plinth of Level 5, as per drawing.

●Worked in plant room ducting and piping connecting to the riser to AHUs.

●Worked in riser ducting.

●Submitting material inspection and work inspection requests to the QC and consultant and get them approved.

Burj Dubai Tower- Dubai

Executed chilled water piping (CHW) works and Fan Coil Unit Works, Air Handling Units and coordinating other services like plumbing, fire fighting etc., in the Burj Dubai Tower known as Khalifa Tower in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

Worked in Burj Dubai Tower which is the tallest building in the world and was responsible for work in 30 floors.

●Install horizontal chilled water piping from riser to fan coil units (1350 units) and air handling units (2 AHU's).

●Raise and submit Work Inspection Request to QC Department and Consultant for the installation done and get it approved

●Raise false ceiling closure request to consultant and get it approved.

Yas Island-Welcome Pavillion Project:

As an Engineer, handled Piping system for HVAC.

●Installed 81 FCUs and 7 AHUs and Pumps.

●I had to supervise the day to day activity and report to the Project Manager.

Emiri Terminal in New Doha International Airport Project:

Worked in New Doha International Airport –Doha. I had to take BOQ for the ducting works and chilled water Piping material as per approved design drawings and to order the materials to the factory for fabrication. I followed up with the factory people for the fabricated ducts for installation.

The Piping of Chilled Water were Underground Piping. The Pipe were pre-insulated and had been welded by skilled X-ray Welders. After Welding works, I would test hydraulically for piping weld joint. The test pressure of 1.5 times of operating pressure was to be maintained. Was also responsible for inspection of welding joints using Ultra Sonic Test.

Site Engineer-ETA Engineering PVT Ltd,Hyderabad. (May 1998 – July 2003)

As Supervisor in ETA Engineering PVT Ltd handled Centralised air-conditioning Projects varying from 50 to 250 TR. Erected Trane chiller units, Ductable Splits, HRU unit, Building Management System etc.,

Job nature involved analyzing engineering design drawing and executing site work of piping, ducting, testing and commissioning of the plant. Actively coordinated with architects, consultants, client and other agencies.Successfully handled a team of more than 50 people towards execution of the project, meeting deadlines on time.
