Engineering co-op, Spirol International
Worked on a team of co-ops to run and maintain autonomous robots that operate surface grinders. Worked with machinists to create and revise standard processes for operating equipment which made training new hires simpler and produced more consistent parts. Created a fixture to more effectively rinse parts in coolant that came off the grinder. Value Engineering co-op, MTD Products
Worked with purchasing team to identify new resins to undergo testing and assisted on supply risk mitigation projects. Sourced, tracked, and delivered new parts to different platform engineers, then worked with them to create test plans for the PPAPs. Created a test matrix which standardized the PPAP process for different part categories across all platforms and gave purchasing a timeline for when to place orders. Testing co-op, MTD Products
Worked closely with product development engineers to develop and perform tests for a variety of outdoor power equipment parts and products. I conducted a variety of tests on metal and plastic components to verify tensile strength, material impact durability, and abrasion wear. Trained to operate various test machines such as Instron as well as other custom equipment and machine presses. Designed and built a throttle cable temperature test fixture to match the application’s form, yet feasibly fit within the test chamber. Groundskeeper, Valleaire Golf Club
Responsible for upkeep and appearance of all things on and around the course; including general upkeep as well as larger improvement projects. Umpire, North Royalton Baseball Boosters
Umpiring youth baseball games with the goal of promoting fair play by enforcing the rules and eliminating confusion.
