Ensure all contractors adhere to Motorola R-56 standards, delivering high quality, turnkey products in a timely and safe manner. Coordinate site walks, conduct quality inspections, and ensure contractors are completing closeout documents correctly. Set work schedules and coordinate all tower, shelter, equipment and material deliveries and installations. Provide detailed daily reports to all customers and upper management. BECHTEL-TALASCEND/GOOGLE FTTH PROJECT -CHARLOTTE, NC 06/2015-02/2017 OSP FIELD ENGINEER FTTH, HYPER BUILD Obtain and assess information regarding the installation and constructability of FTTH routes (using 3GIS). Assess the conceptual designs, and coordination with engineering and construction teams for proposed Google Fiber FTTH networks. Supporting member on the Layout and Design team of network elements in accordance with the network design criteria installations. This includes developing and defining the optimum route corridor and identifying type of construction required. Support the OSP/Design Team as needed. Perform Route Assessments, Right of Entry, Right of Way, and Special Crossings Identifications. Confirm the route corridor is acceptable and can be built in the most cost effective manner. Conduct route and site walk-downs to collect data of all surface features and underground utility data necessary to support the preparation of the construction drawings. Verify CD’s are suitable for submittal to local jurisdictions to obtain construction permits. Maintain records of quantities, computer databases (3GIS), and conduct construction inspection work to input quantity and quality into tracking databases as required. Manage and QC the FTTH site builds before delivery to the customer.
