Had the opportunity, from May 2017- October 2017, to introduce myself to occupational health and safety through their first aid team as a first aider OCTOBER 2017-MAY2018- BVS CONSTRUCTION
Worked with BVS as a Civil works foreman after completion of my diploma course. I got to supervise all civil works on site and also doubling as the safety supervisor on site, ensuring the safety and welfare of workers was priority to the company. I also carried out Job hazard analysis and induction of new workers prior to starting work. MAY 2018- APRIL 2022 PERNIX CONSTRUCTION LLC
Worked as the General foreman for this company, supervising all works on the American Embassy site both quality and production.
At this project I gained a vast knowledge of international policies and sought international qualifications in the safety and welfare of the workers I supervised. I thus pursued job trainings in scaffold erection and inspection by both Bureau Veritas and Lloyd's British. I also trained in confined space safety, working at heights, and excavation safety by Bureau Veritas.
I was responsible for pretask planning, work scheduling, activity hazard analysis and implementation of the safety policies and culture of the company into the employees JULY 2022-DEC 2022. MOTA ENGIL UGANDA
I worked as an HSE officer and Permit to work coordinator for MOTA engil at the tilenga wellpads project. I am responsible for training, coordination of the Permit system, implementation of the safety system and managing a safety culture standard to project and international requirements.
