For the past two years and a half of working I have gathered experience from different laboratories. In my first year, I volunteered at Motebang Hospital for four months. My work was to do all the pre analytical work, analytical and post analytical. During my period of volunteering I ran four sections being; Clinical chemistry, CD-4, BT and hematology…In these sections I could troubleshoot and handle specimens on my own.
Furthermore, I had an opportunity to work in a T. B laboratory at Queen Elizabeth II hospital. In this section I did all the Pre to post analytical work ..Also I have worked at the ports of entry and we tested our travelers coming into the country for Covid -19 and also tested them for hiv/aids.In this work area this is where I learned how to work with a team regarding the field I am in.Also to blend well with others and deliver satisfactory service to our patients and quality results.
