Responsibilities Schedule the inbound and/or outbound delivery of products and orders to customers via contract or company truck drivers. Coordinate with the location's personnel to provide trucking arrangements for all freight needs. Utilize RFN system (review routes, assign route number, release pick ticket information to scanning equipment) for trucks and/or will calls. Maintain the company-owned truck fleet including truck maintenance, maintenance records, and physical inspection of equipment keeping them in effective operating condition. Meet customer service requirements and monitor department productivity and location goals. Create day-to-day safety awareness and DOT and OSHA regulations. Develop efficient delivery schedules effectively utilizing trucks and/or use of contract drivers. Assure timely filing of DOT reports and Driver Services records. Maintain profiles and freight contracts, motor carrier profiles, shipping rates, driving logs, etc. and update the TIS system as appropriate. Train driving associates. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as I am assigned.

Estes Express Lines- April 2022 to August 2022 Dock Supervisor

My responsibilities included learning and understanding the AS400 system while also utilizing the Cross-dock system and other freight systems to capture all Next Day and due Freight. I was also in charge of Dispatching Loaded Trailers on time while also ensuring that those dispatched trailers did not have any Misloaded Freight loaded on them. I was also in charge of overseeing the total dock making sure that the dock was clean of all debris and all dunnage was stored neatly while also making sure all trailers were set to the correct loading Templates. I also made sure that all employees are constantly moving to keep dock efficiency high and that freight was not just being bayed up. I also made sure that all loads were loaded High, Tight, Blocked, Braced and secured for secure safe transport of the customers freight all while making sure that all Loads are closed, opened, and paper work was completed correctly.

UPS Freight- March 2020 to June 2021: Operations Supervisor

~ My responsibilities include the overseeing of all dock operations, working with customers, directing employees, implementing security and loss prevention procedures, preparing and managing safety procedures in accordance to OSHA and DOT guidelines, preparing action plans to ensure the service center achieves planned production, Load average, cube utilization and service targets. Assists with the condition of investigations, and assist with ensuring compliance with government regulations. This position also Supervises administrative personnel, and High Value Clerks. A primary responsibility of this positon requires me to analyze both physical and occupational security concerns. This involves inspecting physical assets (buildings, vehicles, etc.) to identify potential security issues, and reviewing service failure reports to identify employee dishonesty incidents and procedural breakdowns. Another core responsibility is conducting security investigations and presenting findings. I also have the responsibilities of investigating and presenting findings to upper management and other government agencies to ensure appropriate incident responses. This also includes creating training and materials on security and loss prevention practices, and conducting research on best practices.

~This occupational job entails sorting through thousands of packages accurately within limited time sets, managing loaders to inform them what loads need attention and how to run the belt efficiently daily. This job allowed my leadership skills to grow as a leader and to develop more effective communication skills as well as how to lead diverse groups of coworkers in order to accomplish work as a team. Throughout the years, I have truly learned the ins and outs of successful warehouse operations.
