Served as a Subject Matter Expert in a formal job analysis and content validity study, in cooperation with Relias. The study included the identification of unique job duties/tasks and important knowledge, skills, and abilities required of ICU RNs. In addition, assisted in development of test items to be included in a pre-employment job knowledge assessment used by facilities across the U.S. for ICU RN applicants. Also provided individual item ratings that were used in the final calculation and determination of the Angoff pass/fail cutoff for the assessment.
