As assistant bakery manager I have worked every position that is required to help run the department efficiently. I've worked as a clerk and that job entailed waiting on customers, answering the phone, taking orders, filled back stock, and cleaned the department before leaving for the day. I also made cookies, cupcakes and cakes. They were for orders or everyday shelf items. I've also been the donut fryer and baker overnight and that was to prepare product for the next day. I would set up and prep bagels, breads, and donuts. I would fill the cases and write orders for the product needed in that position. As the assistant I wrote and sent orders, I've put away loads that were frozen and fresh. As well as ingredients and supplies. I was able to keep inventory on the product in the department and what we were going to need. I've wrote schedules and put them into the computer system. I was able to delegate tasks to my co workers and keep the department running smoothly. I was able to work along with my co workers as well. I can multitask, customer complaints and compliments. I was always able to make sure the customer was happy with the service they received. I also did inventory on the product and ingredients monthly. I was able to run a bakery department daily and monthly that brought in new customers and revenue. I knew the job like the back of my hand for 22 years. I was able to fullfil every aspect of the job that needed to be attended to that day.
