Hot Feed Machine (two different types)- to produce the first layer of the rubber for tires

Change and install the appropriate dye in the machine for each tire design

Monitor designated section of the tire (predetermined section) to assure that there are no lumps in the rubber

If lumps are discovered, cut section of defected rubber, isolate product then send to re-work area

Complete appropriate paperwork recording incidents and defects

Calendar Machine – to produce GSK Rubber and RFI Rubber for tires

Measure sections of rubber to ensure that rubber is correct for that type of tire

Check and verify that machine has the correct blades in place

Place rubber on the correct envelopes

Lift rubber (up to 50 pounds) and weigh at end of shift

Work overtime as required/needed
