Production experience-
Production operator responsible for safe operation of Cleaver-Brooks boiler(s) providing facility
with 220 lbs of continous steam.
Operating Atlas Copco compressors providing plant air as well as instrument air.
Operation of cooling towers, sampling and maintaining treatment to make-up water for optimal
efficiency.
Wastewater treatment system, receiving, sampling and maintaining incoming and outgoing flows
using lab analysis i.e. conducting lab analysis of pH, conductivity, flashpoints, and TOC’s.
Record keeping of required abatement equipment and sampling analysis as required by TCEQ.
Operating and monitoring via DCS, Delta-V control systems.
Process operations, batch and continuous operations including but not limited to processing
intermediates (oil additives) and stripping column(s), keeping all systems within specified range.
Loading and unloading raw material and finished products via transfer lines to associated units.
Safety
Responsible for issuing safe work permit(s) i.e.- hot work, line breaking, confined space, general
work.
Lock out/Tag out insuring equipment has been properly de-energized, isolated (valving), drained
and secured with proper identification including face to face with maintenance personnel and
energy control procedure.
Teamwork, ensuring that tasks at hand including daily tasks are reviewed, discussed and
accomplished with Safety being first priority.
Lab experience
Analyzing sampled materials such as boiler feedwater, potable water, wastewater, cooling water
and hazardous waste such as waste lube collections.
Analysis include- pH, TOC, flashpoint, iron, conductivity, alkylinity, hardness and molybdates
using analysis for treatment and adjustments as needed.
Also adaptable and confident acquiring additional lab skills as needed or required
