Test Technician – SLB, Inc. (1 year) (Contract) February 2022 – February 2023

Responsible for assisting the lead test technicians for testing and troubleshooting the Wire Line Tractor intervention, Conveyance, Coring and Evaluation family product lines (TiCCE). Job required the use of proprietary operating software known as ‘Maxwell’ and was mostly Mechanical - Hydraulic production, troubleshooting and analysis within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Electronics Technician - Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. August 2018 – February 2020

Responsible for testing and troubleshooting of MWD/LWD boards to component level and analysis on down-whole tools within a manufacturing production environment using a proprietary automated testing system called (Smart System). COVID forced layoff

Electronics Technician - Deteq Engineering Services, Inc. January 2015 - September 2016

Responsible for the testing, analysis and troubleshooting of LWD scintillation detector assemblies (CPA's) along with their compact High and Low voltage power supplies used in nuclear logging tools for the down-whole Oil & Gas environment.

Electronics Technician – Schlumberger (SLB, Inc.) November 2010 - January 2015

LWD product support and sustaining for decommissioned legacy tools through the Engineering dept. Worked directly with Schlumbergers' High Efficiency Centers of Excellence manufacturing department to resolve Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) and Non Conformance Issues/Reports (NCR's) within their LWD tools and sub-assemblies. Worked directly with senior engineers locally and at repair facilities out of state (Lafayette, La) on LWD Nuclear tool issues. Under direct supervision worked on Legacy LWD tools to analyze Electronic, PCB and Mechanical failures. Setup test fixtures/jigs to test and analyze data for new engineering board production.

Electronics Technician – Smith Company August 2008 - November 2010

Component level troubleshooting, analysis and testing within a fast paced manufacturing production environment within the PCB shop for new-build production tools. Precision heat-cycle testing (150c to 175c) for fault failure analysis while focused on component level troubleshooting within the PCB shop for new-build production tools. Tested, analyzed, troubleshot and resolved many different types of LWD pcb issues mostly component level. Implemented pcb ECN's, NCR's and updated pcb's status through company's data base. Submitted documentation recommendations and changes to the Manufacturing Engineer whenever process changes occurred.

Experienced with in-depth component level troubleshooting, fault failure analysis and testing of down-whole PCBA's and complex subsystems within a fast paced manufacturing production environment. Multiple hours in experience with heat testing, troubleshooting and analyzing at 150c to 175c environment within a complex system and subsystem tool string. Becoming fluent with scintillation and He3 detectors used in Nuclear logging tools with isotope (CS-137 & AmBer - 241) spectrum’s on how to analyze their foot print for abnormalities within the LWD electronic circuitry in a lab environment.
