Dear Interviewer,
The Human Resources Department of your agency advertised a position in which I am interested. A review of my resume will indicate that I have experience working with teachers and parents.
My work ethic is exemplified by the following motto: “Excellence Without Excuses”. I have been an Instructional Coordinator in the Child Development Services Department for Neighborhood Centers Inc. In this position my responsibilities include implementing coaching strategies through mentoring the teaching staff on current relevant child development teaching strategies and trends. I have accomplished this by 1.) observing classroom instruction and providing feedback; 2.) demonstrating lessons for teachers; and 3.) conducting small and large group trainings.
My teaching career spanned 28 years; 26 of which were as a Kindergarten teacher and 14 of which were in a bilingual classroom. I now have the capability to see the needs of my students and teachers as well as the skills to fulfill them. I have a reputation for excellent classroom management. I have always worked very hard to create and maintain a secure relationship with each of the students and teachers. The end result has always been high expectations which the students and teachers have readily achieved. I exhibit sincere heart-felt enthusiasm and unsurpassed dedication on a constant basis.
