I was a CARE Rep I help to on board new customers to FedEx. I assist in teaching them how to fill out a bill of leading, look up transit times, create quotes and assist with any issues they may need assistance with at the time of my call. Prior to this position I was with the FACT team which handled any calls that came in to be escalated to management up to VP level.I helped to get freight located if lost, expedited if needed, did billing corrections and write offs when require to resolve an issue. I also helped the customers understand why some issues had occurred for example DOT shut down the route their shipment was on so it was being rerouted if possible. Prior to that I was a FCSR so I took inbound calls from freight customers needing anything from a pick up, quote, billing corrections, transits, ETA for pick up or delivery. This position allowed me to work with most departments within FedEx Increasing my knowledge of the transportation industry.
