July 2002- Robert-James Sales, Inc. Buffalo, New York December 2009 Outside Sales Representative. My duties involved working for a distributor of stainless steel pipe and fittings. While working independently, I was responsible for cultivating and building relationships with both new accounts and my existing customer base. My territory included both Wisconsin and Minnesota which required me to be both organized and efficient in my activities that included account development, price negotiation and quote follow-up. June 2002- Genuine Parts Company, Milwaukee, Wisconsin May 1995 National Account Sales Manager and Territory Sales Manager. As an NASM I was instrumental in acquiring NAPA's largest national account Penske Auto Care Centers. I worked closely with Penske District Managers and Area Vice President to set up model inventories for the repair shops, track and customize inventory for each location by monitoring vehicle registration in each market and maintained inventory control. My TSM duties required me to work with NAPA store owners and managers to help maintain store inventory and explain sales promotions that would benefit their local markets.

My responsibilities included the recruitment of new merchants and retaining existing merchants to fill a number of publications produced by the company. I also would respond to merchant questions and complaints. After the book went to press, I would solicit non-profit groups to sell Entertainment products as a fundraiser. I was consistently ranked number one or two in sales performance out of the Milwaukee office. I won three consecutive “Best Seller Circle” awards and trips to Mexico, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
March 1986- Wilde Fleet Group, Waukesha, Wisconsin October 1991 Sales Representative. Representing ten different automotive lines I solicited leasing companies and businesses with large vehicle fleets to use Wilde's services. I would put together price quotations, answer product questions and be a liaison between the customer and the service department. September 1982- Hallease, Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin February 1986 Lease Manager. Managed a small automotive leasing and rental car company. Duties included maintaining the lease company's day to day functions, promoting new leases, maintaining existing leases and supervised the rental car fleet.
