Lead Project Manager on a project for the United States Census Bureau. Executed program/project task and documentation requirements and lead a small team of installation technicians and a cabling team. Ensured work scope was understood by all members of team and schedule was maintained and followed detailed processes and procedures. Provided feedback and “Lessons Learned” input to refine program/project task and requirements. As the Lead Project Manager, I represented Unisys at each site installation and deinstallation. I was responsible for being at each site on time, per the schedule. As the Unisys Representative Point of Contact on-site for the Census Point of Contact during the site installation, I was responsible for downloading all the pertinent information about the sites; the cabling and equipment drawings; installer checklists; site deployment and installation documentation prior to the deployment of the sites. As Lead Project Manager, I was also in charge of coordinating and managing the on-site cabling activities during the deployment process and directing the cable technicians on the correct placement of the cables within the Census office space. I was continuously in contact with the Unisys Deployment Center to report arrival of team, daily installation progress, status, issues, phase completion and departure. Responsible for directing all cabling technicians, deployment technicians and delivery agents. Responsible for all installation requirements such as hardware failures, missing hardware, staffing issues, obtain sign-off at the completion of site installation and all customer communication. Other responsibilities included overseeing the installation of the infrastructure, testing and documenting all operable automation and infrastructure equipment. In addition to the above responsibilities, as Lead Project Manager I was responsible for sending the completed installation paperwork to the UDC on the final day of deployment. Equipment installed was Dell Computers, Cisco telephones and HP Printers.
