ASE Certified Automotive Master Technician
Tracy Cadillac/Chevrolet - Plymouth, MA
June 1984 to October 2008
I was already working in the dealership when the Tracy’s, bought the business. I was the drivability and electrical expert, though I also did preventative maintenance and routine repairs. I was asked to be the Shop Foreman and work Dispatcher. I accepted the job, but it was a mistake. The Service Manager was brutal towards the technicians and wanted me to act the same way. We had a huge argument and I quit! I had a new job by the next day. Shop Foreman/ASE Certified Auto Tech
Best Chevrolet - Hingham, MA
October 1994 to January 2000
I was in charge of the Service Department Technicians, making sure that the flow of work went smoothly. I also had to guide the techs, should have problems with the repair of their assigned car/truck. Should the tech continue to have issues, I would take over the repair and stay on it until I figured it out. I was injured on the job
Best Chevrolet - Hingham, MA
October 1994 to January 2000
I was injured repeatedly, which eventually led to three surgeries on my lower back. I was very valuable to the dealerships, in which I worked for, as I strived to be the best and was. The day came, when my Doctor/Surgeon explained that one more injury and I would never walk again! So I became disabled in 2000 and if that wasn’t enough, I was diagnosed with MS, in 2014. I’m doing a lot better now, through hard PT
and one of the best neurologists in the world.
