I manage a team of salaried and hourly personnel to develop and provide Environmental Compliance and Hazardous Waste Management solutions for a variety of clients through the following ways: 1. Ensure safe, compliant, and timely completion of client projects, including hazardous, medical, and universal waste management, lab packs, emergency response, field characterization, and small-scale industrial cleaning services. 2. Conduct job walks, evaluate project scopes of work, and develop pricing and proposals to meet margin targets.

3. Characterize and profile waste for clients and conduct weekly RCRA and safety inspections. 4. Lead, mentor, and train team members with emphasis on safe work practices. Create training programs and safety procedures for routine tasks.

Senior Resource Manager

I managed a team of ten salaried and hourly personnel to provide Environmental Compliance, Recycling, and Waste Minimization services for General Motors' Warren Technical Center. My job includes the following responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed inspections with my personnel both inside and outside buildings across the over one square mile campus to ensure Environmental Compliance 2. Facilitate teamwork between MPS, GM salaried and hourly employees, and contracted service providers to obtain support for the goals of our Resource Management Program 3. Implemented and maintain a streamlined Waste Characterization program to ensure materials are properly identified, profiled, stored, labeled, shipped, and tracked to final disposition per EPA regulations.

4. Verify all hazardous waste shipments are in accordance with DOT regulations. 5. Design and modify training, visuals, and work instructions for the campus' Environmental Management System

6. Continually mentor my employees to develop their strengths and train them to succeed in their roles.

7. Research and implement options for recycling challenging streams. 8. Manage vendors and subcontractors, including auditing facilities for use. 9. I managed a staff of project managers and laborers at 17 Chrysler and GM plants throughout the Midwest to ensure we met all expectations of each site’s Total Waste Management and/or Resource Management program. I was the main point of contact for Chrysler’s Corporate Environmental office. 1. Developed standardized procedures and forms that ensured Environmental Compliance at diverse automotive manufacturing facilities including inspections, record keeping, training programs, and education of plant personnel.

2. Implemented Sustainability programs to properly manage recyclable materials, hazardous wastes, and special wastes at automotive assembly, powertrain, stamping, foundries, and casting facilities across the US. These best practices provided $900K in cost savings to Chrysler in 2011 3. Inspected, sampled, and profiled material for proper classification, shipment, and disposal in compliance with government regulations.

4. Created Job Hazard Assessments and PPE Selection Guidelines that ensured employee safety in a wide variety of environments from metal casting to vehicle assembly operations. 5. Performed, encouraged, and tracked employee compliance with safety observation/near miss reporting resulting in no lost time injuries in my group during my tenure. 6. Assisted in writing ISO 14001 and 9001 work instructions for Waste Management and various customers.

7. Mentored challenging employees to become outstanding members of the organization. 8. Provided monthly and quarterly financial, project status, and best practice report scorecards for customers.
