I carried a 3.5 grade point average. I have always excelled in English and Creative Writing. My extracurricular activities included the Drama Club for three years; The International Thespian Society for three years; The Debate Team, where I focused on Dramatic Reading and Debate for three years; A Cappella Choir for three years; Madrigal Singers for two years; Men’s Barbershop Choir for one year; Women’s Show Choir for three years; All-County Choir for two years and All-State Choir for two years. All of the choirs were audition only.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I played the Witch in Into The Woods my senior year, which was the lead in the spring musical. I also participated in community theater groups while in high school, doing Phantom of the Opera, Arsenic and Old Lace, and A Streetcar Named Desire with the Tidewater Players in Havre de Grace MD; The Sound of Music at Cecil Community College in Perryville MD; and Peter Pan and Little Shop of Horrors at Harford Community College in Bel Air MD.
In 2005, while living in Tennessee, I played the lead role of God in the musical Children of Eden at Hiwassee College in Madisonville TN.
I have been a worship leader at many churches, starting in 2003 at WWJD in Tellico Plains. From 2011-2014 I led worship at The Church of Life in Madisonville, TN. From 2015-2019 I led worship at Christian Covenant Church in Athens, TN.
I was published at the age of 12 in The National Library of Poetry
I have written two plays, which were performed by C.H.I.M.E.S. Homeschool Theater Troupe based in Etowah, TN in 2019 and 2021.
I am currently writing a YA book trilogy, and a book of stories based on the miracles and parables of Jesus Christ.
