Responsible for filling and dispensing oral and IV doses for the central side of the hospital. After proper gowning and washing IV medications were to be drawn up, next the medication must be scanned and sorted and put into proper delivery ben’s. All drugs drawn up via IV were to be disposed of properly if expired. Then IV hoods were to be restocked and cleaned. Then upon exiting the IV room we then finished the oral batch of chemo and regular scheduled dosing. Also per schedule request dilution for 7 day, 3 day and 8 hour meds were to be prepared in a quantity sufficient batch to cover the doses for morning shift.
