PROFILE Second-year undergraduate at University of California, Los Angeles studying Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. With the goal to pursue the medical field, I am currently volunteering at the Ronald Reagan Center for patient transport and I am the Public Health Director for Global Medical Training (GMT) at UCLA. Both give me the opportunity to serve others directly by utilizing my interests in medicine, while simultaneously teaching me more about the professional world. Passionate about providing healthcare to communities unable to access critical services; and greatly interested in expanding scientific research about technological advances in editing DNA and genetics. As I am hardworking and schedule oriented, I continue to search for challenging internships and research opportunities that will further these ambitions. My career goal is to further develop DNA technology for tissue regeneration and disease prevention to become a viable and affordable option in patient treatment.
