Skills; I have tracheotomy care, experience with the insertion and removal of Foley catheters, training on the use of insulin and diabetic diet., giving medication po., im, subq, and topical. Management of overseeing that cna’s get their work done. Safe ng tube insertion and removal. Changing dressing sterile and non-sterile. Patient feeding and care with positioning. Collecting specimens and cultures to send to the lab, patient and family focused. Treated patients with chronic and acute health problems. Thorough physical assessments, strong clinical judgment and the ability to handle taking care of numerous patients per shift. Ability to take care of patients with acute and chronic conditions. Experience with admission and discharge of patient.
