Primary mission was to help the owner change over from an all hard public bid company to a negotiated or mix of the two.
Based on the company’s history and bonding capabilities of $10 million per project, with an aggregate of $30 million, I estimated that it would take up to 16 months to convert and enter the market as a negotiated contractor. Was successful in achieving this goal until the day of his decision to close the company. My main task was to target the architects and engineers and then select the owners and developers who were showing growth based on private publications and public documentation.
Some of these contacts included DLR Group, United Properties, ATS&R, Collaborative Design Group, S.E.H., Building Consulting Group, Clark Engineering and other smaller development and architecture groups.
