Machine Operator

Omega Flex – Exton, PA – April 2017 to February 2018

Responsibilities

I was responsible for the operation and change over of multiple machines. My job was manufacturing multiple size flexible steel hose which was used for a variety of purposes, such as carrying oxygen to a many number of liquids. Crucial to the operation of this equipment was knowing the correct timing, heat, speed and pressure.

Accomplishments

I was able to keep up with the demand of our product while maintaining the absolute best quality.

Skills Used

My ability to coordinate the timing, heat, speed and pressure of these machines and trouble shoot any problems that might occur.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator/Filler Room Operator

Smuckers Natural Foods – Havre de Grace, MD – September 2013 to January 2015

Responsibilities

I was responsible for the loading and unloading of the juice product which we produced at this plant. Also, I am trained to operate the I.M.S (Inventory Management System) as well as being trained to run and operate the palletizing machinery. As a Filler Room Operator I was responsible for the actual bottle filling of the juice products. This required me being trained to run and operate a number of different pieces of machinery and computer equipment that is required to actually bottle the product. Critical to this position is knowing at all times the correct temperatures, pressures and timing of all equipment as well as Brix content, Co2 contents and the correct fill weights of the different products.

Accomplishments

I became multi-trained and skilled to operate numerous pieces of equipment, machinery and computers as well as being trained to operate the Boomlift, Scissorlift and the Standup and Sitdown forklifts.

Skills Used

Skills demonstrated daily at this job was becoming a safe and responsible multi-equipment and machine operator as well as math skills, leadership skills and the ability to think on my feet. I also never cut corners and I have great work ethics.

P.M.O., Packaging Machine Operator

Responsibilities

Was responsible for the operation and maintenance of multiple packaging machinery and statistical weighers. The operation required that I know and maintain the operations of the machinery and regulate the flow and packaging of various products made and produced by Frito-Lay. Responsibilities included the assurance of no mixed product as well as the accuracy of weight and the correctness of seals of each product being released to the public. Critical to this position is knowing at all times the correct temperatures, pressures and timing of all equipment. Position also required the management of floor operations of personnel on the receiving end of production as well as being trained and licensed in forklift operations.

I know my positive attitude, work ethics, leadership, and the ability to help and get along with others made an impact on my co-workers. Also, I was quick to take the initiative being innovative resourceful.

I have a back ground in management as well as construction and electrical experience which I applied to my job every day.
