Profile

I’m a rising sophomore seeking a position in an organization to hone my skills and gain experience. I’m attending Michigan State University and studying Astrophysics and Astronomy. I'm very proficient in math and science, as well as writing, and understanding complex situations. I’m able to keep calm under pressure, think clearly, and act decisively. I currently have 3.35 GPA. I am also a member of the MSU Physics Society and Astronomy club.

Experience

Sunday School (AGGSS), Haymarket, VA— September 2018 to June 2021 I worked as a paid volunteer at a Sunday School as a Teacher. I would teach preschoolers, kindergarteners, and 1st graders. I prepared the yearly curriculum and weekly lesson plans for each class. I had to communicate with parents to help students having difficulty in class, as well as sending out the weekly homework. I had to come up with new creative ways of teaching each Sunday to make sure the students would stay interested and do so similarly with in class activities and classwork.

Safeway, Bristow, VA — September 2020 to May 2021

I worked as a courtesy clerk up to Cashier- My primary job was to ensure customer satisfaction while making sure all items were scanned and charged appropriately, It also involved me accounting for all change and cash within transactions and in the register. I also was required to stock items and provide customer service. Courtesy clerk involved me ensuring customer safety during the pandemic by cleaning parts of the store and any spills or messes. It also involved ensuring carts were neatly put away, as well as patrolling the store to help any customers find items, recommend alternative items for their needs, or return items to their rightful place. I also helped customers load their cars and carts in a neat and organized fashion to make sure the groceries weren’t destroyed or damaged. I also had to make sure customers weren’t stealing or damaging any goods or entering employee only areas. Education
