Crew leader in highway maintenance operations with experience in:

●Supervising work road crews to perform mowing, asphalt patching, asphalt ditches/asphalt driveway aprons, ditching/ water drainage planning, shoulder grading, roadway crossover pipes, driveway pipes, and concrete sidewalks.

●Create 330 forms for items that the area headquarters needs.

●In charge of snow shift to include printing out vendor sign in sheets, calling contractors to inform them of when to report to the area headquarters, enter vendors time using SWAS, enter road and bridge temperatures using SWAS, update headquarters salt and/or brine inventory in SWAS.

●Informing contractors and VDOT personnel when to treat the road with chemicals and when to plow.

●Receive incoming salt deliveries and putting the salt back into the salt dome, then I update SWAS with the total tonnage of received salt. After that I scan then email salt tickets to whom they need to be sent to.

●Make phone calls to redirect VDOT personnel and contractors on which parts of our area need to be plowed or have chemicals applied to them if one part of the area is worse than the others.

●Act as primary point of contact for emergency standby calls as well as being the secondary contact.

●Call Miss Utility about upcoming jobs that we plan to dig at to mark all existing underground utility lines and to make sure we are able to dig at the job site safely.

●Assist in preparing our yearly MS4 inspection book and filling out the MS4 inspection sheets.

●Assist in creating new book for our SWPPP.

●Perform inspections according to the SWPPP.
